AJ Hartley is the New York Times and international bestselling author of young adult and adult fantasy, mystery/thriller, and historical fiction novels. He was born and raised in England, is a professor of Shakespeare Studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and has had a number of death-defying encounters with local wildlife while traveling around the globe.
